Parental Guidance Program

To further strengthen our bond with parents and extend support beyond the school premises, we have collaborated with Radiosathi FM to host a unique and informative parental guidance program. This program comprises a series of 16 episodes, covering a diverse range of topics relevant to parenting and child development. Through these radio episodes, we aim to provide valuable insights, expert advice, and practical tips to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children in today’s fast-paced world. We recognize that parenting comes with its share of joys and difficulties, and our program aims to address various aspects, including academic support, emotional well-being, effective communication, discipline, and fostering creativity in children.

Parent Interaction and Meetings

We understand the significance of involving parents in their child’s educational journey. We actively encourage parents to participate in various school events, meetings, and interactive sessions. Through regular parent-teacher meetings, we provide an opportunity for parents to discuss their child’s progress, strengths, and areas that need attention. We value your input and insights, which contribute significantly to shaping a positive learning environment for our students.

The Parent's Forum

The Parents’ Forum is an exclusive platform designed to promote meaningful interaction and exchange of ideas among parents, guardians, and school staff. Via this Forum, parents can:
Engage with Each Other: Share experiences, parenting tips, and advice, creating a supportive community that understands the challenges and joys of raising children.
Connect with Teachers and Administrators: Interact with teachers and school administrators, seek clarifications, and provide feedback to ensure a well-rounded educational experience for your child.
Access Resources: Access educational resources, parenting articles, and helpful materials to stay informed and involved in your child’s learning journey.

A REQUEST TO PARENTS

We believe that there are three pillars that ensure scholastic success: the child, the school and the parent. Our relationship with parents is crucial to the success of our students and, therefore, we consider parents as partners, giving importance to their involvement in the school’s educational process. A regular and meaningful communication between the school and home is therefore, necessary and encouraged. A variety of opportunities are provided for close interaction with parents. They are:

  • Parent Orientation at the commencement of an academic year.
  • Open House days to discuss student progress and areas of mutual concern and interest.
  • Regular communication through the Student Diary and School Apps.
  • Periodic Notice
  • Facebook
  • Whatsapp group.

In order to secure all that is best in the education of your ward the maximum co-operation between parents and school management is necessary. We earnestly recommend that parents/guardians look into their children’s school diary every day (or check the information on your mobile or computer) and see to it that the lessons, and homework assigned for the next day are completed. Children should be encouraged to cultivate neatness habitually and remarks made in the diary should be seen and counter signed regularly.

If you feel that your ward does not make the desired progress the Principal/ Coordinators, respective grade co-ordinators should be contacted. Criticism of teachers in their presence should be thoughtfully avoided since it causes the child to lose his respect for his teacher, with the consequent failure to learn from him. Should you have any complaint please meet the Principal/ Coordinators. As your child advances in age, guide him/her to become a resourceful and useful member of home and community.

Encourage self-help for work and study. He/ She should be taught to keep his/ her room tidy, make his/her own bed, polish own shoes, carry own bag, etc. The formation of such habits early in life inculcates the ideas of the dignity of labor, a basic human virtue necessary for a successful carrier in life.

Withdrawal of your ward from classes for more social functions is not entertained. As the medium of instruction is English, children should be helped to follow their classes easily and intelligently by a certain amount of regular English conversation at home.
